Urology Physician Needed in Rockville, MD

Job description

Weekend call coverage: Friday 5pm - Monday 8am (call shift)

• Support staff: Normal nursing, techs for a tertiary care department
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 3 weekends per month and , 4 on months with 5-weekends.
• Patients per day: maybe 5-10
• Patient population/age: All ages but no neonates
• Department description: Community Hospital, no trauma
• EMR: Cerner
• Hospital bed size: 400
• Special procedures: Needs to be comfortable doing cystoscopy, urethral dilations, bladder/ureteral repairs, scrotal explorations, I&Ds

Credentialing timeframe: 60/90 days

• Board Certification: BC required
• State license required: Yes required unless IMLC
• DEA: Yes required
• CSR: Yes required
• Certifications preferred:
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS

• Full time or part time
