🩻 Mammography Radiologist Locum Opportunity – Anchorage, Alaska

Join a collaborative radiology team at a respected Level II Trauma Center serving Alaska Native and American Indian communities throughout the state. This onsite opportunity offers weekday-only scheduling with no call, making it a great fit for radiologists seeking flexibility while enjoying everything Anchorage has to offer.

Assignment Highlights
Monday–Friday schedule
Daytime hours only
No call responsibilities
Flexible scheduling with 1–2 weeks of availability per month
Ongoing coverage opportunity
Onsite position (potential remote opportunities may become available in the future)
Work alongside an experienced team of 14 radiologists
Cerner EMR
Practice Details
182-bed Level II Trauma Center
Mix of Mammography and General Radiology preferred
Mammography-only providers will also be considered
Approximately:
20–30 screening mammograms daily
5–8 diagnostic mammograms with ultrasound
2–3 breast procedures per day
General Radiology consists of approximately:
50% cross-sectional imaging
50% plain film
Average of 60 general radiology reads daily
Strong onsite support including mammographers, breast ultrasound technologists, and satellite screening clinics
Experience Preferred
Cross-sectional imaging
Ultrasound studies
Screening & diagnostic mammography
Ultrasound-guided breast biopsies
Stereotactic procedures
Tomosynthesis-guided biopsies
Wire localization
Clip placement
Breast MRI experience preferred but not required
Fluoroscopy and minor procedures preferred for General Radiology
Requirements
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Radiology
MQSA Qualified
Recent Mammography experience
Ability to work onsite
Alaska license required (facility is not licensing)
