Radiation Oncology Physician – Locum Tenens

Job description

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Radiation Oncologist for a six-month locum tenens assignment providing outpatient coverage.

Assignment Details

Specialty: Radiation Oncology

Provider Type: MD/DO

Assignment Length: 26 weeks

Reason for Need: Gap in coverage

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Shift Length: 8 hours

Setting: Outpatient hospital-based practice

Call: None

Rounding/Admissions: None

Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

Practice Model: Provider will work independently

EMR: EPIC

Patient Volume and Clinical Responsibilities

Approximately 15 patients on treatment daily

Approximately 2–5 consultations per week

Approximately 5–10 follow-up visits per week

Radiation oncology consultations

Treatment simulations

Clinic follow-ups

No surgery or procedures outside of routine radiation oncology clinic operations

Requirements

Washington medical license or IMLC LOQ required

• Ongoing for 6 months with option to extend
• IMLC accepted
