Facility:
This well-established radiation oncology center operates two Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and one CT simulator, serving an average daily patient census of approximately 30 patients. The center is supported by a dedicated team including radiation therapists, a dosimetrist, a physicist, and nursing staff, ensuring a collaborative and well-resourced clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Coverage needed for December 21-23 and December 28-31, with hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (one-hour lunch break)
• Manage approximately 30 patient encounters per shift
• Perform new patient consultations, follow-up appointments, on-treatment visits (OTVs), and verification simulations
• Operate and manage treatment using Linear Accelerator, including Rapid Arc/VMAT and Electrons
• Apply external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) techniques
• Perform Conventional/Conformal Therapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), and Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT)
• Conduct Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) and Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)
• Utilize hyper altered fractionation techniques
• Perform conventional treatment planning, beam shaping (MLC), 3D CRT, and IMRT planning
• Conduct PET CT or MRI image fusion and Electronic Portal Imaging (EPI)
• Board certification required; BLS certification required
• Active Texas license or IMLC required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 60 days
