About the facility

This outpatient cancer institute is affiliated with a healthcare system and provides dedicated radiation oncology services in a structured on-site environment. The facility is currently equipped with ELEKTA linear accelerator technology and is transitioning to Varian in December, with treatment planning systems transitioning from Mosaic and Raystation to Aria and Eclipse concurrently. Established clinical protocols and appropriate resources are in place to support coordinated oncology patient management.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide outpatient radiation oncology services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no call or weekend requirements. Daily responsibilities include managing 25-30 patients currently on treatment and delivering SRS and SBRT treatments in an on-site outpatient setting. All patient documentation must be completed through EPIC EMR, with treatment planning currently supported by Mosaic and Raystation, transitioning to Aria and Eclipse in December. Board certification in Radiation Oncology and prescriptive authority are required for this assignment.
