Locum - Physician - Radiation Oncology Lexington, KY

Job description

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist for a locum opportunity in Lexington, Kentucky. This is an ambulatory clinic position providing outpatient radiation oncology care with no call or weekend responsibilities. The provider will oversee radiation treatments, perform new consultations, follow-up visits, treatment planning, status checks, and participate in tumor conferences. Required procedures include SBRT, IMRT, 3D conformal radiation therapy, and SRS. The practice utilizes EPIC EMR and is supported by 1 RN, 4 Radiation Therapists, 2 Medical Physicists, and 3 Dosimetrists. Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible, have a Kentucky license or IMLC, complete the required residency/fellowship training, and maintain a clean malpractice/background history.

• Outpatient-Only Schedule – Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with no call or weekend requirements.
• Advanced Radiation Oncology Practice – Perform SBRT, IMRT, 3D, and SRS while managing consultations, treatment planning, follow-ups, and tumor board participation using EPIC EMR.
• Fast Credentialing Available – Emergency credentialing in as little as one week for providers with a clean malpractice/background, covering a provider resignation.
