Job description

Start: October 1, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 26 weeks (extension submitted, approval currently through June 2027)
Coverage: Adult inpatient behavioral health - rounding and admissions
Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 8:00-18:00; 7-day day coverage on a Tuesday-Monday rotation alternating each week
Call: No call
Volume: Varies by census
Practice Setting: Freestanding adult psychiatric inpatient unit
Procedures: N/A

Daily rounding on an adult inpatient behavioral health census
New admissions and treatment planning
Collaboration with an established provider team - you will not be working solo
Timely documentation in Epic
8 hours of orientation provided at the start of the assignment

Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Oregon license required due to urgent start (IMLC accepted); licensure not sponsored for this assignment
DEA required
BLS certification required
COVID-19 vaccination required - no exemptions
Case log requirement: documented inpatient or consultative services in the privileges requested for at least 30 patients within the past 24 months, or completion of a hospital-affiliated accredited residency, fellowship, or research program within the past 12 months
Epic experience preferred
