OUTPATIENT PSYCHIATRY NEED IN SOUTH CENTRAL NEW YORK STATE

Job description

Shift times- 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, 1-hour lunch; 4 hours admin time
Dates- Anticipated start 11/16/2026; 6-month contract or until permanent replacement is hired.
Census- Thursday-Friday approximately 10 patients/day; approximately 1 new consult/day; Monday-Wednesday precepting.

• Patient Population: Ages 5-65+
Patient population ages 5-65+; diagnosis mix, MAT/Suboxone component, and medication-management vs. evaluation mix TBD.
Supported by the exceptionally capable and experienced Nurses and Social Workers in the 25-bed Behavioral Sciences Unit that is certified by NYSOMH. Working in close collaboration with Family Services and sharing professional responsibilities with other Psychiatrists supported by PMHNP’s
