We are seeking a Permanent Physician – Outpatient Psychiatry to join a reputable healthcare facility in Troy, NY.

Position Overview
Patient Population: Adult Psychiatry
Practice Setting: Outpatient Mental Health Clinic
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care, assess, diagnose, and manage psychiatric conditions using evidence-based practices, collaborate with counselors, therapists, case managers, and nurse practitioners, participate in weekend and weeknight call rotations, and deliver patient-centered behavioral healthcare.
Required Procedures: Psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, treatment planning, outpatient behavioral health care
EMR System: Not Specified
Support Staff: Interdisciplinary team including counselors, therapists, psychiatrists, case managers, and nurse practitioners
Coverage Needed: Full-time
Call Requirements: Weekend call rotation (1:6) and weeknight call rotation (1:7)

Requirements
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
New York Medical License (or willing to obtain)
DEA required prior to start
Recent NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days)
Visa sponsorship requirement must be disclosed
Clean malpractice history highly preferred
Outpatient psychiatry experience preferred
Local candidates within 30 miles are not eligible
