Perm Physician – Psychiatry (Outpatient)

**Position Overview**

We are seeking a **Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Adult Psychiatrist** to join an established outpatient behavioral health practice in Troy, New York. This full-time, permanent opportunity offers a collaborative multidisciplinary environment focused on delivering high-quality psychiatric care to adult patients.

**Position Details**

* **Position Type:** Permanent / Full-Time
* **Location:** Troy, NY
* **Practice Setting:** 100% Outpatient Adult Psychiatry
* **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, Day Shift
* **Weekend Call:** 1:6 Rotation
* **Weeknight Call:** 1:7 Rotation

**Responsibilities**

* Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult patients with a variety of psychiatric conditions.
* Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
* Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists, counselors, and case managers.
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in call coverage.
* Support quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.

**Qualifications**

* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
* Active New York Medical License (or ability to obtain).
* Active DEA registration prior to start.
* Current NPDB Self-Query (within the last 30 days).
* Outpatient psychiatry experience preferred.
* Clean malpractice history preferred.
