Locums Inpatient Attending Psychiatrist Needed in Brooklyn

• Brooklyn, New York

• Brooklyn Community Hospital with direct subway access at the front entrance (J, M, Z lines just steps away)

• 370‑bed community hospital

• Recently renovated psychiatric department

• All behavioral health services located on a dedicated floor to streamline communication, collaboration, and patient care

• Locums Inpatient Psychiatrist

• Monday–Friday schedule, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

• No call

• 24‑bed Acute Care Psychiatry Unit

• Two psychiatrists cover the licensed 24‑bed unit

• Up to 11–12 patients per day maximum

• No H&Ps required (completed by medical staff)

• Strong multidisciplinary support team:

  • 2 Social Workers

  • 1 Case Worker

  • 1 Behavioral Health Associate

  • 2 Creative Arts Therapists

• Experienced and supportive nursing staff

• Newly renovated psychiatric unit with all services centralized on one floor for efficient workflow and patient care
