This inpatient facility in Maryland is seeking board-certified psychiatrists to provide full-time coverage in support of a new unit opening. The facility delivers adult psychiatric services with a clinical focus on crisis stabilization, trauma disorders, and co-occurring conditions. Locum tenens coverage is sought on an immediate basis for an initial period of 3-6 months.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians in this role will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric services for adult patients on a day shift schedule, totaling 40 hours per week on-site in Maryland. Clinical responsibilities include rounding on adult patients within an inpatient unit, with a focus on crisis stabilization, trauma disorders, and co-occurring conditions. Call coverage is required, consisting of 10 weekend calls per year and availability for major holiday coverage.
