Inpatient Psychiatrist Locums – Louisa, KY | 7 On / 7 Off | Ongoing

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Louisa, Kentucky. This position offers a consistent 7-on/7-off schedule within a well-supported adult inpatient psychiatric unit.

Assignment Details
Location: Louisa, KY
Assignment: Ongoing until a permanent psychiatrist is hired
Coverage: 2 weeks per month
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off, Monday–Sunday
Onsite Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Call: Evening and overnight call during each 7-day coverage block

Practice Setting:
Adult inpatient psychiatry
19-bed psychiatric unit
Average census: 12–14 patients
Average length of stay: approximately 5–7 days

Support Team: Registered Nurses, LPNs, Mental Health Technicians, Activity/Recreation Therapist

Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Active Kentucky license required
Comfortable providing inpatient psychiatric care and evening/overnight call coverage

Additional Information
Credentialing timeframe: approximately 60–90 days
Long-term, recurring coverage with a predictable every-other-week schedule
