About the clinician's workday

The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive inpatient psychiatric care for adult patients working day shift and call coverage with rounding responsibilities and weekend coverage requirements. Clinical duties include conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and managing medications for patients with a wide range of mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and medical comorbidities including both involuntary and voluntary admissions. The clinician will maintain detailed documentation while managing call responsibilities and collaborating with hospital staff to ensure effective care delivery for adult patients requiring acute psychiatric treatment.
