📅 Assignment Details
- Start Date: August 10, 2026
- End Date: January 15, 2027
- Commitment: 3 months minimum (6 months preferred)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hrs/week)

🏥 Position Overview
- Inpatient Adult Psychiatry (acute + long-term care)
- Average 10–14 patients per day
- Acute LOS: 7–10 days
- Collaborative team: psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, nurses, and PCPs

📞 Call Responsibilities
Weeknight Call:
- From home
- Typically light (0–10 calls on heavier nights)
Weekend Call:
- Brief on-site rounding (3–4 hours)
- Remainder of call from home
- Covering an 80-bed hospital
- 4–5 notes/day for crisis/private insurance patients

🩺 Clinical Focus
- Depression
- Schizophrenia
- Bipolar Disorder
- Psychosis
- Trauma-related conditions

✅ Requirements
- General Psychiatrist
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified
- Alaska license preferred (open to licensing candidates)
