An Inpatient/Residential facility is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

This facility is located about 2 hours south of Atlanta, GA.
About the clinician's workday
The schedule is Mon-Fri 9a-5p. The caseload averages 10-12 patients per day, with a maximum of 20. Responsibilities include follow-ups and medication management (30 minutes) and occasional full psychiatric evaluations and physical exams (65 minutes). Patients (18+ years old) are treated for alcohol and drug addiction, anxiety, and depression, with an average stay of 28-30 days. The facility is supported by 30 RNs, medical assistants, and a collaborating psychiatrist. Immediate start is possible upon signing the facility's NP form.
