This rehabilitation hospital is a dedicated inpatient facility focused on providing specialized physical medicine and rehabilitation services to patients in the East Texas region. The 49-bed facility offers strong support systems including daytime hospitalist coverage, with hospitalists managing all night and weekend call responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Urgent locum tenens need covering August 3-10, 2026 and August 10-14, 2026
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible)
• Average daily patient volume of 16-20 patients per day
• 25-35 patient encounters per shift
• 49-bed rehabilitation facility
• Daytime hospitalist coverage provided on-site
• Hospitalists cover all night and weekend call - no after-hours call responsibility
• Must hold an active Texas medical license prior to start
• Must hold an active DEA registration in Texas prior to start
• Board certification required (minimum certification level: Certified)
• Clean background history required
• Must be credentialed within 7 days
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Non-interventional pain practice - no pain injections required
