Locum PM&R Physician - Greensboro, NC | Inpatient Rehab + Outpatient Clinic | No Call

Job description

Start: November 16, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 13 weeks (open to extension)
Coverage: Outpatient clinic 2-3 days/week with remainder inpatient rehab rounding and consults
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:00-15:00 (5x8s template); will consider 3 days/week if Tuesdays and Thursdays are covered
Call: No call
Volume: Clinic 15-17/day; inpatient rounding and consults 5-7/day
Practice Setting: Inpatient rehabilitation unit + outpatient rehab clinic
Procedures: Spine injections, joint injections, RFA, Botox and migraine management, ultrasound-guided procedures

Inpatient rehabilitation rounding on a CARF-accredited 49-bed unit with an average daily census of 17
Outpatient PM&R evaluations, treatment planning, and follow-up in an 11-exam-room clinic with 2 procedure rooms
Interdisciplinary collaboration with PT/OT/ST, nursing, APPs, social work, and neuropsychology
Support staff includes 6 RNs and a PT team of 4 inpatient, plus 1 RN and 4 CMAs in clinic
Timely documentation in Epic

Requirements
Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
North Carolina license and DEA required (IMLC accepted; open to licensure)
Minimum 2 years of experience covering both inpatient and outpatient
Epic charting experience required (1 year preferred)
Experience with inpatient rehab and spinal cord injuries
Vaccines required; privileging timeframe 60-90 days

7:00-15:00, 5 days per week (3-day option available)
Clinic 2-3 days per week, remainder inpatient
No call
