Physician Assistant Nurse Practitioner Spring Valley, NY (35 miles N of NYC)
We are looking for a compassionate and energetic Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our urgent care center group full time in Rockland County- Spring Valley, NY. You will find a supportive and welcoming team to work alongside you within our fast-moving Urgent Care Center. The provider will be required to see and treat a wide variety of health care issues in patients of all ages in our busy facility.

Duties:
• Performs and documents history and physicals of walk-in patients
• Evaluates and treats common acute conditions, illnesses, or minor trauma
• Performs in-office minor procedures
• Orders X-rays and review and other diagnostic tests as needed
• Consistently and accurately documents all calls, treatments, medications, etc. in patient chart
• Instructs and counsels patients regarding diagnosis and follow up steps
• Responds to all patient questions
• Assists physicians in addressing urgent patient needs as necessary
• Collaboration with the physicians, midlevel providers, and support staff for comprehensive care
• Performs other duties/projects as assigned
