This medical center is a well-established healthcare facility that serves the western North Dakota community with comprehensive orthopedic services. The hospital provides excellent support staff including ER and OR teams, utilizing modern EMR systems like Meditech and Allscripts to ensure quality patient care.

Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery - Orthopedic

Job Details:
• Provide 24-hour on-call orthopedic coverage from 7am to 7am
• Treat and manage orthopedic patients presenting to the emergency department
• Handle 2-5 patients per day with potential increases during community events
• Manage trauma cases including fractures, dislocations, sprains, strains, and tendon ruptures
• Perform orthopedic OR procedures, stabilizations, and splinting as needed
• Work with dedicated ER staff and OR support teams
• Utilize Meditech and Allscripts EMR systems
• Coverage dates: June 26 (7am) through July 7 (7am)
• Board certification highly preferred, truly board eligible accepted
• North Dakota state license highly preferred, IMLC accepted
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• DEA highly preferred and required during credentialing
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred
• Self-Query NPDB report required within 30 days of presentation
• Credentialing timeframe: 2-4 weeks

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
