Work Details:
• Support staff: Dedicated retina-trained staff, nurses, and technicians; experienced clinical leaders and support staff; dedicated in-market Physician Liaison and marketing support
• Amount of coverage needed per month: TBD
• Patients per day: TBD; described as a very busy retina-only practice with a large built-in referral base
• Patient population/age: Retina patients requiring diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of retinal diseases; specific age mix TBD
• Department description: Established retina-only practice with 6 fellowship-trained surgeons. Retina Consultants of Nevada has a long-standing presence in Southern Nevada and a large referral base supported by 5 additional multispecialty ophthalmology groups. Practice is part of Comprehensive EyeCare Partners.
• EMR: ModMed — application-based EHR run on iPads is this correct?
• Special procedures: Vitreoretinal surgical procedures performed in enterprise-owned, single-specialty ASCs; dedicated retina-only ASC room with anesthesia and modern surgical equipment
• Skills required: Ability to diagnose and medically/surgically manage retinal disease; ability to perform vitreoretinal procedures independently
