Locums Optometrist Opportunity in Dover-Foxcroft, ME

Job description

Schedule:
Start: ASAP
Full-time, ongoing
Tuesday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm (60-minute lunch)
36-hour workweek

Assignment Details:
Outpatient clinic/FQHC setting
Average 16 patients/day
Provide comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and treat eye conditions, prescribe corrective lenses, and provide emergency eye care
Support from 1 Optometric Technician and 1 Optician
EMR: Athena (must be comfortable completing your own charting)

Requirements:
Board Certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry
Graduate of an accredited school of Optometry
Active license preferred (licensing candidates considered)
Clean criminal and DHHS background required

Credentialing:
Minimal credentialing

Additional:
Travel and lodging provided
Rental car included
Up to $1,800/month lodging allowance
One roundtrip flight per contract
