Locum Neurologist - SW Washington | 1 Week/Month | Clinic + Call | EEG/EMG | Epic

Job description

Start: November 2, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 13 weeks (open to extension)
Coverage: Inpatient and outpatient neurology - clinic plus in-house consults, rounding, and admissions
Schedule: 1 week per month, Mon-Fri, 8:00-17:00 (8-hour clinic days) with call throughout the week; 3-5 days of call coverage preferred
Call: 24-hour unrestricted call layered on top of clinic days; 0-4 calls/texts per 24-hour period managed by phone; in-house consults handled while onsite
Volume: Approximately 16 patients per day; average daily census 16 in a 122-bed acute care hospital
Patient Population: Ages 17 and older
Practice Setting: Hospital-based clinic and inpatient units at the same address
Procedures: EEG, EMG

Outpatient neurology evaluations, treatment planning, and follow-up
Inpatient consults, rounding, and admissions
Perform and interpret EEG and EMG as needed
Timely documentation in Epic
8 hours of non-billable orientation provided

Requirements
Board Certified in Neurology
Washington license and DEA required (IMLC accepted; open to licensure)
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
BLS and ACLS required
Epic charting experience required
COVID-19 vaccination required - no exemptions

8:00-17:00 clinic days, Monday-Friday
24-hour call coverage during the scheduled week
Collaborative coverage model - not working solo

• Combined inpatient/outpatient practice with clinic located inside the hospital - no travel between sites
• Supported team model (1.5 FTE physician + 1.0 NP); WA license required, IMLC accepted
