Job description

Full-time Neurologist needed for a primary health care system in San Antonio, TX! Clinic hours (either 4x10s or 5x8s) available. Competitive salary and robust recruitment package offered. Perform physical and neurological examination of patients that are suffering from neurological disorders. Examines, diagnoses, treats and/or refers patients assigned to physician’s panel, on an in-patient and out-patient basis. Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions. Must possess a current unrestricted license to practice Medicine in the State of Texas

M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited School of Medicine or Osteopathy
Successful completion of Neurology residency program
Board certification or eligibility in Neurology required
Annual continuing medical education as required by Board specialty
Must be registered and have current DEA and other such certificates to legally operate as a practitioner in the State of Texas
Hospital privileges at designated area hospitals if required for specialty
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Instructor-Led by American Heart Association
