✅ Requirements

🗸 MD or DO from an accredited medical school
🗸 Completion of an accredited Neurology residency
🗸 Active, unrestricted New York State medical license
🗸 Board Certified in Neurology
🗸 Paid experience performing echocardiograms, carotid Doppler, lower extremity venous Doppler, and abdominal aortic Doppler
🗸 Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and interpreting neurological diagnostic studies
🗸 Excellent communication, analytical, and patient-care skills

✅ Responsibilities

🗸 Diagnose and treat neurological conditions, including epilepsy, stroke, migraines, neuropathy, and movement disorders
🗸 Perform neurological examinations and interpret EEG, EMG, MRI, and CT studies
🗸 Perform and interpret specialized cardiovascular and vascular diagnostic procedures
🗸 Develop individualized treatment plans, prescribe medications, and coordinate referrals
🗸 Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and symptom management
🗸 Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
🗸 Maintain accurate electronic medical records
🗸 Stay current with advances in neurology through continuing education
