Job description

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a part-time Neurohospitalist for a permanent position located in southwest Jacksonville, part of Florida’s largest healthcare system.

Qualified Candidates:
* Board certified or eligible in Neurology
* Have a current, or be able to obtain an unrestricted license to practice in Florida - not
subject to any restrictions, probationary terms or conditions
* No history of license to practice being revoked, restricted or suspended by any professional licensing agency in any state or jurisdiction
* Have current, unrestricted DEA registration

Position:
* Inpatient, consult service - will cover stroke alerts
* Comprehensive onsite neurosurgery services available
* Hospital is a comprehensive stroke center

* A full-service, level II trauma and acute-care hospital with 411 beds including 10 ORs and 40 ICU beds 
* Hospital is the only Comprehensive Stroke Center in county
* 20-bed inpatient rehab center and 24-bed psychiatric unit
* 9 ACGME residencies/fellowships
* 44 bed emergency department with 2 dedicated trauma bays with 112,000 annual patient visits
