This is a rapidly expanding neuroscience institute with a focus on comprehensive patient care, academics, and research. The institute enjoys the resources of a system committed to excellence in patient quality and experience, with an impressive staff of world-class neuroscience leaders spanning vascular neurology, neuro-ophthalmology, neuromuscular neurology, movement disorders, epilepsy, cognitive neurology, neurosurgery, neurocritical care, general neurology, and headache and pain management. The affiliated community hospital is a 249-bed acute-care facility located approximately 10 minutes east of Hartford.

Physician - Neurology
Job Details:
- Neurohospitalist opportunity providing 24 weeks of inpatient coverage per year, defined as full weeks from 7 AM Monday to 7 AM Monday, including a share of evening call coverage
- Provide attending coverage on the general neurology service, neurology consult service, or a combination of both
- Examine, diagnose, manage, and treat patients presenting with a variety of neurological disorders
- Provide inpatient consultation services for neurology patients
- Participate in one half-day ambulatory clinic session during weeks of inpatient coverage
- Actively participate in neurology didactic sessions and attend Hartford Hospital Grand Rounds and other teaching lectures virtually as appropriate
- Participate in monthly Neurohospitalist Lecture Series
- Opportunity to engage in additional activities such as clinical research, quality improvement, patient experience initiatives, resident and faculty interviews, and lectures to professional or public audiences
- Position is open to BC/BE Neurologists
