This opportunity is based within a rapidly expanding neuroscience institute that is part of one of the largest healthcare networks in Connecticut, employing over 2,500 providers across more than 400 practice locations throughout the state. The institute features a brand-new, state-of-the-art ambulatory Neuroscience Center that brings together memory care, general neurology, neurosurgery, pain management, headache, epilepsy, movement disorders, stroke, and many other specialties all under one roof. As an academic institution affiliated with two prominent medical schools, the organization is deeply committed to clinical research, medical education, and delivering world-class, coordinated patient care.
Opportunity:
Physician - Neurology
Job Details:
- BE/BC Cognitive Neurologist, Memory Care Specialist, or General Neurologist with training and expertise in dementia-related disorders
- 100% outpatient practice with no call, weekend, or holiday coverage
- Join a cohesive multidisciplinary Memory Care Program focused on the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive disorders
- Collaborate with specialists in Neurology, Neuropsychiatry, Neuropsychology, Clinical Social Work, and Advanced Practice Nursing
- Utilize advanced diagnostics including dementia biomarkers, neurocognitive testing, and amyloid PET imaging
- Offer innovative therapies including anti-amyloid monoclonal antibody treatment
- Provide comprehensive evaluations and individualized care addressing medical, psychosocial, and emotional needs for patients and their families
- Participate in robust academic engagement including didactic activities, clinical research, academic posters and presentations, and fellowship/resident/student training
