About the facility

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center providing acute care services with the clinical infrastructure necessary to support on-site neurology coverage. The facility maintains established protocols to facilitate neurological consultation and care delivery for its patient population. All coverage is provided on-site throughout the assigned period.

Colorado offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and recreational activities suited to varied interests. The state features regional attractions, extensive outdoor recreation opportunities, and year-round activities for a variety of interests.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide outpatient neurology coverage on a 24-hour call basis, fielding TeleNeurology consults as needed via an on-call service. Coverage is conducted via telehealth only, extending across both Colorado and Kansas. Consult volume is variable and determined by clinical need throughout the assignment period. Call coverage is a required component of this locum tenens engagement, and board certification in Neurology is required for all clinicians considered.
