# Neurosurgery APP – Hospital Assignment | Massachusetts

## Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Neurosurgery APP for an inpatient hospital assignment providing pediatric patient care. This is a patient-focused role with no operating room responsibilities.

## Assignment Details

**Location:** Massachusetts

**Facility Type:** Hospital

**Schedule Checklist**

✔ 3 shifts per week

✔ 13-hour day shifts (6:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

✔ No nights

✔ No holidays

## Responsibilities

✔ Round with the neurosurgery team and residents

✔ Evaluate and manage inpatient pediatric neurosurgery patients

✔ Review and enter patient orders

✔ Coordinate patient discharges

✔ Remove drains (Hemovac/JP drains) preferred

✔ No operating room responsibilities

## Practice Environment

✔ Epic EMR

✔ Pediatric patient population

## Requirements

✔ Board Certified in Neurosurgery

✔ Active Massachusetts license required

✔ Minimum 1 year of neurosurgery experience

✔ Must be licensed prior to submission (licensure assistance is not available)

**Estimated Credentialing Time:** Approximately 90 days.
