Neurology NP/PA – New Haven, CT:
📅 Start: 2/1/27 | 6-month contract
🌙 7 on/7 off | 12-hour Nights
📆 Monday–Sunday
🏥 Inpatient Neurology | Level I Trauma Center
👥 8–12 patients/day
💻 Epic
🤝 Chief resident & attending available for support
🚫 No OR coverage required
👥 2 openings

Scope:
• Inpatient Neurology/Neurosurgery/Stroke coverage
• Daily rounding, assessments & treatment planning
• Inpatient neurologic & neurosurgical consults
• Pre- & post-operative patient management
• Acute stroke workflows & inpatient stroke management
• Ischemic & hemorrhagic stroke care
• Wound assessments, dressing changes & staple/suture removal
• Drain management support
• Lumbar punctures preferred, not required
• Additional bedside procedures based on departmental privileges

Requirements:
✅ 2+ years of experience preferred
✅ Inpatient Neurology/Neurosciences experience strongly preferred
✅ Must be comfortable with inpatient rounding & consults
✅ Board Certification required
✅ BLS & ACLS required
✅ DEA required
🪪 CT license required; willing to license compact-eligible providers
⭐ Seeking experienced APPs who can hit the ground running
🎓 Academic/teaching hospital setting
