Interventional Nephrologist - Outpatient Dialysis Access Center | Central CA | Mon-Fri, No Call

Job description

Start: January 1, 2027 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 13 weeks (locums or locums to perm)
Coverage: Full-time outpatient interventional nephrology, scheduled shifts only
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:00-17:00 (5x10s)
Call: No call
Volume: 6-10 dialysis access procedures per day
Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic - 100% outpatient
Procedures: Tunneled and non-tunneled catheters, declots, fistulagrams
Support Staff: Rad techs, nurses, and medical assistants

Perform scheduled dialysis access procedures in a dedicated outpatient setting
Manage pre- and post-procedure evaluations and access planning
Work alongside an experienced procedural support team
Timely documentation in Advanced MD

Requirements
Board Certified
California license and DEA required (open to licensure)
Comfortable with high-volume dialysis access procedural work

7:00-17:00, Monday through Friday
No call, no weekends
Credentialing timeframe approximately 2 weeks

• Standard Mon-Fri days, 7:00-17:00, with absolutely no call
• Locums or locums-to-perm; willing to license, and credentialing runs about 2 weeks
