California Interventional Nephrology Locums - No Call, Procedural Focus

Job description

Aya Locums is working with a California outpatient group seeking an Interventional Nephrologist for full-time coverage beginning January 2027. This is a true procedural Nephrology assignment focused on dialysis access rather than traditional outpatient clinic visits.

The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM with no call. The physician can expect approximately 6-10 dialysis access procedures per day, including catheter procedures, declots and fistulogram work. Clinical support includes radiology technologists, nurses and medical assistants.

This opportunity is 100% outpatient and may also offer a path from locums into a permanent position for a physician interested in something longer term. The client is willing to consider physicians who need California licensure, and Aya can assist with the licensing process.
