This prestigious healthcare network serves 1 in 3 Connecticut residents and features a comprehensive Cancer Institute paired with a dedicated Neurosciences Institute. The Cancer Institute includes 40 medical oncologists and 17 radiation oncologists, supported by a robust research program with a phase 1 unit for early drug development studies, while the Neurosciences Institute comprises more than 220 providers across 22 sub-specialties. The network also maintains a celebrated partnership with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, fostering collaboration through tumor boards, educational conferences, and research studies.

Physician - Hematology & Oncology

Job Details:

  • Fellowship-trained neuro-oncologist opportunity within an established and growing Neuro-Oncology Program
  • Work closely with the Director of Neuro-Oncology to develop and deliver advanced treatment options through clinical research
  • Provide comprehensive, coordinated clinical care for patients with primary and secondary central nervous system neoplasms and neurologic complications of cancer
  • Join a collaborative neuro-oncology team including 2 APRNs, one RN, one Nurse Navigator, 2 Medical Assistants, and a dedicated neuro-oncology research nurse
  • Clinically based at one hospital while actively engaged system-wide in quality, research, and program development
  • Participate in well-established disease management teams and medical, radiation, and surgical councils
  • Access to clinical trials through the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology and NRG Oncology
  • M.D. required; board certified or board eligible in Neurology and Neuro-oncology (UCNS)

Compensation:
