Surgical Oncology APP Needed in CA

**📍 San Francisco, CA | 26-Week Locum Assignment | Start: September**

**Assignment Highlights:**

* **Start Date:** September
* **Duration:** 26 weeks
* **Schedule:** Full-time, 4x10s (40 hours/week)
* **Setting:** Outpatient Academic Medical Center
* **EMR:** Epic
* **Credentialing:** Approximately 60 days

**Practice Details:**

* Join a collaborative team of **7 attending physicians, 1–2 APPs, and 4 RNs**
* Treat **adult patients only**
* Approximately **30–40 patients per week**
* Focus on **GI Surgical Oncology**, including colorectal, pancreatic, and liver cancer patients

**Responsibilities:**

* Outpatient surgical oncology follow-up care
* Wound care and wound VAC management
* Staple and drain removal
* Patient assessment and treatment planning

**Requirements:**

* Open to **Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants**
* **Active California license** required
* **California DEA (Schedule II)** required
* **AHA BLS Certification** required
* NP candidates must hold an approved national board certification (A-GNP, FNP, AGACNP, ACNP, or equivalent)

**Experience:**

* Minimum **2 years of Surgical Oncology** experience required
* **GI Surgical Oncology experience strongly preferred**
* Candidates with less than 2 years of experience but significant GI Surgical Oncology experience may still be considered
* Must be comfortable practicing in an **outpatient surgical oncology** environment
