A well-established acute care hospital is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for a high-responsibility locum tenens assignment combining inpatient rounding, STEMI response, and general cardiology coverage. This role is ideal for a provider comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment with both procedural and consultative cardiology demands.

Position Highlights
Structured weekday rounding with active STEMI call coverage

Clinical Responsibilities
Providers will be responsible for:
Inpatient cardiology rounding and consults
STEMI call coverage and emergent response
Cardiology procedures as indicated
General cardiology coverage on weekends and holidays
Coordination with APP support for daily rounding workflow

Acute care hospital setting
Adult patient population
Mix of inpatient rounding, consults, and emergent interventional cardiology
Collaborative support model with APP assistance
Structured weekday + weekend coverage model

Schedule Overview
Weekday structure includes daytime rounding with evening STEMI call coverage
Weekend coverage includes 24-hour call responsibilities
Holiday coverage required as part of rotation
Defined call responsibilities with predictable coverage blocks

Ideal Candidate
Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist
Active Pennsylvania license (IMLC accepted)
DEA required
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
Comfortable managing STEMI cases and inpatient cardiology independently
Able to cover both interventional and general cardiology responsibilities
