Clinical operations are conducted on-site in accordance with standard hospitalist program protocols.

Woodstock offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and leisure activities suited to varied interests. The area features hiking trails, scenic overlooks with views of the Shenandoah Valley, and river activities including canoeing, kayaking, and rafting. Additional options include local brewhouses, art galleries, vineyards along a regional wine trail, hot air ballooning, and cycling on country roads. Downtown serves as a hub for dining, local shops, and community gatherings throughout the year.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide 12-hour inpatient hospitalist coverage on an on-site basis, with shifts structured as day (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and night (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Day shift clinicians will focus on inpatient rounding, managing approximately 20-22 patients per day in an acute care setting. Nocturnists will manage on-site patients and provide telemedicine support for admissions across multiple affiliated facilities. No call responsibilities are required outside of assigned shift hours.
