Hospitalist Opportunity in Raleigh, North Carolina- IMLC Accepted

Job description

Position Highlights:
•Location: Raleigh, NC
•Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing
•Contract Length: 6 Months
•Coverage needed: Part-time or full-time. Day shifts are the majority of the need.
•Shift times: 7a-7p; 7p-7a.
•EMR system: Epic
•Average daily census per provider: 13-14 per shift
•Average Admissions per shift: less than 1 per shift
•Rounding responsibilities: see full spectrum, including oncology. All Medicine subspecialties
•ICU responsibilities: Closed ICU. Doesn’t manage.
•Procedures required? If yes, specify: None
•Rapid response or codes required? On their own patients only
•Specialty backup available? All subspecialties have specialty backup, except for dermatology
•Tele-ICU support available? In-person intensivist 24/7
•Number of Hospitalists per shift: 10-12 per am shift; 3 per night
•APP support? They take their own patients; they work independently from the hospitalists.
•Dedicated admitter? Yes
•Board Certification required or is BE accepted? Board Certification required
•Years of experience required: 5
•Willing to license: Must be IMLC or NC Licensed
