Hospitalist Locum Opportunity – North Carolina
Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing
Contract Length: 6 Months
Schedule: Flexible full-time or part-time coverage. The greatest need is for day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) with the ideal schedule being 7 on/7 off. A part-time nocturnist is also needed with flexible scheduling.
Highlights:
Flexible scheduling with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. Providers able to cover one week per month are encouraged to apply, as long as they're flexible on which week they work.
Well-supported hospitalist program with a closed ICU, no procedures, no call, dedicated admitter, 24/7 in-house intensivist coverage, and comprehensive subspecialty backup. Hospitalists average 13–14 patients per shift with fewer than one admission per shift.
Epic EMR in a collaborative practice environment. Board Certification in Internal Medicine and 5+ years of Hospitalist experience are required. Candidates must have an active North Carolina license or IMLC.
