Physician - Hospital Medicine
Job Details:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care to adult patients with a broad range of medical and complex conditions
- Round with and supervise UConn Internal Medicine residents while providing clinical teaching and mentorship
- Participate in resident education, case discussions and bedside teaching
- Collaborate with specialists, advanced practice providers, nurses and other members of the multidisciplinary care team
- Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Participate in the academic and educational activities of the Department of Medicine
- Help create a supportive learning environment for residents and medical students
- Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule in a teaching-focused Hospitalist role

- MD or DO required; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Strong interest in resident and medical student education required
