Physician - Hospital Medicine

Job Details:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care to adult patients with a broad range of medical and complex conditions
• Round with and supervise UConn Internal Medicine residents while providing clinical teaching and mentorship
• Participate in resident education, case discussions and bedside teaching
• Collaborate with specialists, advanced practice providers, nurses and other members of the multidisciplinary care team
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Participate in the academic and educational activities of the Department of Medicine
• Help create a supportive learning environment for residents and medical students
• Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule in a teaching-focused Hospitalist role
