This facility is a well-established regional medical center that serves as a Level 3 Trauma center providing comprehensive surgical services to the community. The facility features advanced diagnostic imaging capabilities and utilizes Cerner EHR systems to ensure efficient patient care and documentation.

Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery - General

Job Details:
• Provide hospital call coverage for Level 3 Trauma center from 7am to 7am
• Handle 5-8 consults per 24-hour call shift including in-hospital consults, ED trauma, and general surgery call
• Manage transfer call center patients and emergency surgical cases
• Perform general surgical cases for adult and trauma patients
• Conduct central line insertion and chest tube insertion procedures
• Handle abdominal surgeries, vascular access devices, and cholecystectomy procedures
• Must be Board Certified in General Surgery
• Active Michigan medical license required (IMLC not accepted)
• Local drive-in candidates only - no flight arrangements
• DEA registration required with verbal confirmation at name clear
• Must use DocTime system for clocking in/out - reverse billing site
• Current NPDB self-query required within 30 days of presentation
• Weekend coverage responsibilities included

Compensation:
