Location: Located in southwestern Oregon, where the Coos River enters the Pacific Ocean. Museums, park and beaches make it destination-worthy! Less than three hours from Portland. Facility: Hospital offers comprehensive medical services for people of all ages. Health and wellness services in pediatrics, childbirth and obstetrics, gynecology and female health, cancer diagnosis and treatment in oncology, diabetes and kidney disease treatment, geriatric medicine and services for the elderly and disable, emergency medicine, and a full range of specialty medical services. Opportunity: Trauma Surgeon *ASAP- Ongoing *1 week a month ongoing for the first quarter of 2024 with the potential to extend *Required procedures: endoscopies, GI bleeds, bread and butter GS cases *Rural hospital, must be comfortable handling everything *EMR: Epic *Board Certified in General Surgery and Critical Care -Required *Active OR license - Required *Provider must be proficient in BOTH upper and lower endoscopies - Required *No pending malpractice cases - Required, no exceptions *ATLS - Required Compensation: Competitive hourly rate with weekly pay plus malpractice
