Job Title: Locum Physician- General Surgery
Location: Petaluma, CA
Practice Setting: Inpatient
Coverage Type: Call Only
EMR: Epic
Rate: $1200 for the overnight call
$200 hourly (if the facility asks you to visit them)

Requirements:
Active California Medical License
Specialty Skills:
General Surgery: Required
Adult: Required
Appendectomy: Required
Cholecystectomy: Required
Hernioplasty: Required
Schedule:
Need 10-14 days per month
Specific Dates: January 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 3
Responsibilities:
Provide coverage for inpatient services
Respond to call coverage as needed
Perform required surgical procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty
Document patient encounters and procedures accurately in the Epic EMR system
Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited school
Board certification in General Surgery
Proven experience in performing appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, inpatient setting
