Advanced Gastroenterology Coverage in West Virginia | ERCP & EUS
Job description
A West Virginia hospital is seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist for ongoing clinic and call coverage beginning October 1, 2026. Coverage is anticipated for six months, with approximately two to three weeks needed each month. Multiple gastroenterologists may divide the schedule, so partial monthly availability may be considered.
The incoming gastroenterologist will provide both General and Advanced GI services. Endoscopy experience is required, along with the ability to perform ERCP and optional EUS procedures.
Assignment details include:
Clinic plus call coverage
Two to three weeks per month preferred
Multiple gastroenterologists may share the schedule
General and Advanced GI procedures
Endoscopy required
EUS is highly preferred
189-bed hospital
Cerner electronic medical record
Approximately 60 days for credentialing
Coverage anticipated for six months
Flights, rental car or mileage, and lodging provided
Candidates must be board certified and maintain an active DEA, BLS, and ACLS. An active West Virginia license is preferred, although qualified IMLC candidates may be considered for licensing assistance.
