The facility maintains the clinical infrastructure necessary to deliver outpatient gastroenterology services, including scoping and general GI care. Coverage is provided on-site with both day shift and call responsibilities.

About the clinician's workday

The gastroenterologist will provide general gastroenterology coverage in an outpatient clinic setting, managing approximately 16-18 patients per day. Clinical responsibilities include clinic visits, scoping procedures, and outpatient gastroenterology care delivered on a day shift schedule. Call coverage is required, with a schedule of 4 nights per month. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required for this on-site locum tenens assignment.
