Gastroenterologist | 6-Month Locum Coverage in Vermont | 10-Hour Day Shifts | Licensure Provided
Job description
Start: October 5, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 6 months / 26 weeks (October 5, 2026 - April 5, 2027)
Coverage: Scheduled shifts plus on-call
Schedule: Standard 5-day workweek, 10-hour day shifts, 7:00-17:30; up to 48 hours per week; 1-hour unpaid lunch
Call: Call and weekends as required
Holidays: Provider required to work 2 of 4 winter holidays
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital, adult trauma center (Levels I-IV)
General gastroenterology coverage across scheduled day shifts
Call and weekend coverage as assigned
Timely documentation and coordination with the care team
Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Vermont license and DEA required (open to licensure - client will license)
Commitment to the full 6-month assignment required
Requested time off must be submitted at presentation; no more than 3 weeks RTO during the assignment, and no additional RTO granted once the assignment begins
Credentialing timeframe approximately 45-60 days
7:00-17:30 day shifts (10 hours)
Up to 48 hours per week
Call rotation: weekdays + weekends as needed
