This healthcare facility is a well-established medical center that serves the transmountain community with comprehensive gastroenterology services. The facility features a 10-bed department and maintains Level 4 trauma capabilities, providing quality care to patients throughout the region.

Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

Job Details:
• Provide gastroenterology services with 4 patient encounters per shift
• Perform upper GI endoscopy procedures including biopsies, foreign body removal, and fulguration of bleeders
• Conduct ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) both diagnostic and therapeutic
• Perform PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) procedures
• Conduct esophageal dilatation/manometry and interpret esophageal manometry studies
• Perform small bowel biopsies and lower GI endoscopy procedures
• Conduct sigmoidoscopy (both flexible and rigid) and colonoscopy with biopsy capabilities
• Perform endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and liver biopsy procedures
• Must be board certified in Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
• Active Texas medical license required
• ACLS certification required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
