The facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support gastroenterology coverage across inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings. Locum tenens gastroenterology coverage is sought to address ongoing staffing needs.

About the clinician's workday

The gastroenterologist will provide gastroenterology coverage across inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings on a 24-hour call basis at this on-site facility in NY. Call coverage is the primary responsibility; clinicians are not called in frequently, though availability must be maintained throughout all designated call periods. Clinicians who are open to OR block time and capable of performing outpatient procedures may incorporate those activities into the assignment as well. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required for this locum tenens engagement.
