Facility:
This facility is part of a physician-led, integrated healthcare delivery system serving a regional area of 490,000 residents. The organization features a state-of-the-art 357-bed tertiary referral center that opened in July 2023, complete with an outpatient endoscopy unit, 8 endoscopy suites, motility lab, and dedicated inpatient endoscopy rooms.

Physician - Gastroenterology

Job Details:
• BE/BC in Gastroenterology required as part of planned section expansion
• Serve state-of-the-art 357-bed tertiary referral center with outreach opportunities to surrounding communities
• Work in Digestive Health Center with 8 endoscopy suites, motility lab, and two dedicated hospital endoscopy rooms
• Position accommodates subspecialty interests including IBD, liver disease, and esophageal diseases
• ERCP and EUS experience not required
• Minimum 1:8 call schedule goal
• Join current team of four general gastroenterologists, one GI hospitalist, and additional physicians joining in 2026
• All GI hospital admissions managed by IM hospitalist service with GI functioning as consultative service
• 11 advanced practice providers support outpatient visits and inpatient GI consultation service including weekends
• University of Minnesota medical school affiliation available
• Teaching, research, and outreach opportunities available
• Full spectrum of endoscopy procedures with expansion opportunities based on physician interest
• Goal of building team to 8-9 general gastroenterologists and 3 advanced endoscopists
