About the clinician's workday

The clinician will handle general gastroenterology cases and perform ERCP procedures while managing an average of 5-10 patients per day with 0-5 procedures per call shift. Essential duties include rounding and admissions with the ability to function independently on call days while collaborating with an inpatient APRN and anesthesia support team. The position requires board certification in gastroenterology with active BLS, ATLS, and DEA certifications along with membership in one of the major gastroenterology professional organizations. Candidates with a Kentucky license or compact license in hand will receive priority consideration for this assignment.
